This book felt like I was being wrapped in my favorite blanket. It was so cozy and loving and warm and I loved it so much. Megan's books always seem to find me when I need them the most an this one was no different. The Fastball may be my favorite one in the series so far and I've loved all of them so much. Mandy and James had so many real and honest conversations and didn't push each other away because of their pasts. I also absolutely adored the pen pal trope and I love when the two characters make that connection. I thought the anxiety rep and PTSD was so valid and Megan handled these topics with care and grace. The Hutchinson family is the best and I love how comforting they are towards the people in their lives. Also James is a KING when it comes to gestures and acts of service and I felt the love off of the page. I loved seeing the other siblings and it makes me excited to get Jax's story at some point. I can't say enough good things about this book and this series. Thank you to Megan for providing me with an arc to read and review!!
