Wolves of the Calla by Stephen King

4.0

If you’re reading this series and have made it this far, this is the story of end of the world gunslingers; Roland, Eddie, Susannah, Jake and their talking pet Oy as they continue their quest to prevent the destruction of the Dark Tower and, consequently, save all worlds from Chaos and the Crimson King. While not as strong as Wizard and Glass, this book has the gunslingers helping a farm town called Calla Bryn Sturgis from a band of “Wolves” that come around every 20 or so years and steal children. Picture The Magnificent Seven by Stephen King, then throw in all kinds of crazy stuff like Father Callahan (from Salem’s Lot) and a side adventure in New York of 1977. Definitely enjoyable.
