The Art of Making Memories: How to Create and Remember Happy Moments by Meik Wiking
3.0
I like the book but not even close to as much as i liked The Little Book of Hygge. I guess it's because this book talks mainly about the past, moments that happen and how to remember them, whereas Hygge talks about creating those moments that are going to become some of the best memories of our lives.
It's the difference between anticipation, excitement, newness, the deliciousness of the present moment, the potential that holds every second, encounter ....and the nostalgia, the past, the reminiscences.
I prefer the promise of the now, the anticipation, the living of the moment. I do treasure my memories, but I love creating new ones, rather than talking about them for an entire book.
