Okay, the first thing I will always say about this series is that… in order to love it, understand what she is doing and appreciate the read you need to go through almost the first two books. You need to keep going not questions made. You need to suck it and go along pages and more pages of inner dialogue. It’s a bit hard, and if you’re not damn sure it’s going to be worth it, you’ll surrender. But girl… if it isn’t worthy.

This woman gives you such goods characters, such incredible character development, such wonderful interactions… She treats and speaks of women in such a deep and realistic way… The way she just says the phrase “I don’t give a fuck about what anyone thinks” is such a male thing to say because women don’t have the privilege of not caring about what others say… wow.

It really is a different thing to read. I had never read something so worthy and so hard to appreciate before. The only reason I went on was because I knew people said it took time to get to the good part. I could even say you won’t like Auren till you’re deep into the second book. But that’s because she is so damn broken in so many ways.

So please, give these books a go. They are worth the effort. I could even say the way she made them is necessary to get to the best part. I think she did wonderful. I think what she did is different and brilliant but also brave because not everyone is going to give it the time it deserves. But they should.

The story feel familiar because it gives you all the thing you already love but at the same time it’s something fresh and new, it’s funny and lovely and sexy and hot. Also hard and deep and thoughtful and interesting.

I also have to say the male MC is… chef kiss. Something like Rhys and Cass, but at the same time… he is his own. Doesn’t feel like the same thing once again. I loved him so much, he’s become one of my favorites. He is so damn sexy because he is absolutely into everything Auren throws at him. They are just perfect together.

Also Ryatt… boy I like you.

Another lovely thing about this series is the multiple perspective it has. At the same time you’re getting more characters into play, they come with its own narrative which is great.

Also love the time they spend in the cave. It was cozy and homey and so so great to have for a while.

And now… I’m leaving here… a little something.

"For twenty years, I've been caught beneath the will of another. What if I want to just.. leave? To escape all the bullshit and stay in a little cabin in the middle of the woods where no one can find me? Or what if I want to travel all of Orea, never setting down roots, never staying anywhere long enough to outstay my wel-come? I could. learn something new. Climb a mountain. Practice music. I could get a job somewhere. Build something. Get a pet. I could go flirt in a pub. swim naked in the sea. Go dancing. Make a friend. Kiss a stran-ger. Maybe that's what I want."

"Goldfinch, you could conquer the entire world with a single look, if only you'd open your eyes."

“Every piece, every memory, every minute, every inch. This isn't going to be some casual dalliance. This isn't going to be temporary. I want you soul, mind, and body. I want your trust and your thoughts. I want your past, your present, your future. So make very certain that you want me for the right reasons. Be certain that you're choosing this, because once you do, there's no turning back."

"I need you all to tuck your dicks in for a second and try to think rationally. Like a woman."

"But I'll be the villain for you. Not to you."

REALLY GIVE THIS PEOPLE A GO, YOURE GOING TO LOVE THEM!!!! ✨⚡️
