A very moving story, easy language but not a feel good book :)
If you liked the book “Where the crawdads sing” you will like this one. Personally I was not a fan of Where the crawdads sing but I liked this book it has similarities but I think this book is more detailed and because of that it is a memoir it felt like it has a more powerful meaning.
