Jessie is such a feisty main character and I absolutely loved her attitude. I really wore myself out of "teen girl enters an unfamiliar high school and falls in love with crush while best friend from the sidelines supports her" trope but this was a good start to getting back into it. Though honestly, I probably won't read another one of these for a while since I REALLY wore myself out of them.

The book itself was really predictable (at least in my opinion), but the writing and characters were really good, so I didn't mind it too much.
