ARC REVIEW

If there's one thing I go feral for, it's a friends to lovers and Stephanie Archer didn't miss with this one.

I adored Darcy and Hayden so much. Hayden is such a goofball who encourages Darcy and just wants to help her become her best self. Darcy is struggling to figure out her own identity after her relationship ends, so she turns to her best friend for help. After 8 long years, she's ready to play the field and who better than Hayden to teach her the ways of a player.

Of course Hayden agrees because he would do anything for Darcy. However, there's only so much Hayden can take and when he reaches his limit, he knows this may be the only chance to show Darcy how good they could be together.

There is honestly just something so comforting about a friends to lovers for me and this one definitely hit my top 5. I also loved how supportive Hayden is of Darcy's career, which is a common theme throughout this series - Jamie encouraged Pippa's singing career, Rory encouraged Hazel to open her yoga studio and now Hayden encouraged Darcy's passion to be a statistical analyst for The Storm.

I just love that Stephanie writes strong FMCs with partners who support and worship them.
