Neuromancer by William Gibson
5.0
Just re-read this one recently. Probably the third or forth time, but it has been a few of decades since the last time. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it held up. The story is of course still fantastic, and still feels fresh after all this time. The technology has (mostly) held up well also, and doesn't detract too much from the enjoyment.
Some things I didn't really understand the first time I read Neuromancer:
Computer programming
Computer security
Rastafarianism
Artificial Intelligence
If you've been reading any of Gibson's new work (and you should), you owe it to yourself to back and read the one that spawned a million cybernetic dreams.
