I received a digital ARC of this book from Edelweiss and the publisher.

A boarding school is an interesting adaptation for the Dracula story. This is set up to be a pretty good adaptation and a good horror manga. My small complaint is one I often have with manga where it can be a bit difficult to follow what's going on, especially when the dialogue / narration can be vague or the story jumps around a bit. I do think this issue is minimal here.

I really enjoyed the artwork; the characters were unique and the atmosphere was eerie. I really like what they did with Mina's character. She was already a bit of a tomboy in the original story and going full out with it here, making her a wrestler and the only girl at an all boys school, really made her even more of a standout. There's also interesting conflict between her and the boys at the school which I think reads well to a modern audience.

All in all a great adaptation, I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
