Wow. Didn't realise how much I needed to read this!
The brick wall is something that I relate to a lot, on a personal level - Ahmed puts it into words well:
We can be shattered by what we come up against.
And then we come up against it again.
We can be exhausted by what we come up against.
And then we come up against it again.
It was so refreshing to see the perspectives in this book, and I felt particularly seen as a trans woman - Ahmed did a great job of balancing the different narratives of all the different types of women that exist.
Let's all be feminist killjoys.
