Captivating sequel in the series. Sometimes sequels can be dreary and lose sight of the plot, but this one kept me on my toes! The romance kept its tension and the overarching plot with its politics kept developing nicely. 

One thing I feel wasn’t needed was
the fact that they made Casia a reincarnation of the love interest’s former lover. I think it takes away from their romance and it would’ve been better without.
