While I am not personally squeamish, I will make a warning for the faint of stomach not to pair this book with food. That being said, it is both informative and downright infuriating - not just the injustice and gaslighting that the women endured, but also the parallels I see surviving in today's work standards. There's a saying that every workman's law is written in blood, but companies still try to shirk their way around them to throttle out every last cent of profit.
Definitely a book that should be widely read, in my humble opinion.
