Deciding to read this on a cruise may have been a brave choice but I enjoyed this book! I did find it hard to keep up with the different characters (but this may be because I’m not as big a murder mystery reader) but found the book very pacey. The two main characters felt reminiscent of Sherlock and Watson types and some of the descriptions of women were maybe a little lengthy and unnecessary? However, I did enjoy the twist which I found very unexpected and overall thought it was a fairly clever read, although I did spot some of the clues along the way and thought some were delivered quite heavy handed-ly.
