So this is the first book in the series that become the phenomenon many years later when Thomas the Tank Engine became a series and in this book Thomas is not there (well he is in one picture apparently) but the star is Edward with Gordon and Henry as co-stars.
Great stories and the beginning of a series that has enthralled people for many a year.
To think this was now seventy six years ago when it was released.
