The Phantom Atlas: The Greatest Myths, Lies and Blunders on Maps by Edward Brooke-Hitching

3.0

Finally finished this book. It was an interesting read, as the name suggests its about mapped places that never existed, whether they were mirages or outright lies.

A bit repetitive but I suppose that's the story of how discovery and debunking was made. Of the three books by the author I have read this was the weakest. Probably due to me reading this after The Golden Atlas. There was a bit of overlap between the two.

I'm glad to have finally read this book, good but not great.
