This is a five star book simply for the ending. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it.
But I LOVED seeing Auren finally flourish and though painful, she’s no longer viewing the world through a gilded veil. And also plot twistit was Auren who had the power all along. Which just makes Midas’s relationship with her that much more insidious. There was no love on his part. And I can’t wait to see Auren ruin him.
I also liked that this book gave a couple more point of views because Malina’s storyline feels like it could be interesting.
I am so excited for the next book after seeing how this one ended.
1/5 on the spicy scale. Only one scene and it’s between side characters.
