Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams

3.0

I was torn over whether to give it 2 or 3 stars. Parts of it were fun and exciting like when Ford was dealing with the happy robot and constantly jumping out of windows. Or when they went to The King's dinner and had Elvis singing. However, I didn't like how the author just plucked Fenchurch out of the universe because she wasn't convenient to the plot and didn't mention her again. Not even to say that Arthur missed her. I did like that Arthur did eventually found peace being a sandwich maker showing that he does have the capacity to be happy and isn't just a chronic complainer for the fun of it. I am being so harsh with this one because the first two were brilliant and it just doesn't feel like as much effort was given to this one. I decided to go with 3 because it did keep me on edge during tension scenes and did a good job of surprising me a few times.
