The way this Black Hammer story is being told in this circuitous fashion is so fresh and interesting, despite the fact that the characters are generally explicit homages to DC staples.

Still left with a couple questions though. e.g. why is Archive wondering what happened to the 20th century heroes if his mom is Walky Talky?
