The concept was interesting, but the execution left a bit to be desired. The way the author brought up social issues was awkward and felt forced, like she was trying to tick off a box instead of addressing things in a meaningful way. The main character read more like a young adult than a thirty year old. It was an easy read, but I won't be reading it again.
