Interesting premise, less than masterful execution. The characters  were bland and in the effort to make the protagonist seem like the smartest one around, everyone else is almost buffoon-like in comparison. The dialogue was oddly paced. Everything lined up too conveniently- the protagonist takes several stupid risks that would likely have killed a minor character, but everything works out for her in the end. I  pushed through this book in the hope that it would get better and was sorely disappointed.
