This is the first book that I have ever wanted to read again. Now that I’ve read it twice, I can say that I would read it again and again.
Spoilers on overall mood and general feelings of how the book fits into the series:The first time I read this book, I found it exceedingly scary. Upon rereading, it is much less scary, and much more full of information that matters a lot when it comes to revelations in the books Harrow and Nona. Muir has built an incredible universe full of compelling, frustrating, and heartbreaking individuals.
See below for my original (and continuing) feelings:
I’M SCREAMING AND CRYING AND THROWING UP - this is to say, oh my god read it. It’s worth it.
