Only Louise Penny can explore a murder while delving into character development and reflections on forgiveness and redemption. In this seventh installment in the series, Inspector Gamache investigates a woman strangled in Clara and Peter Morrows' backyard on the night of Clara's solo art show. This is a fabulous series, but it must be read in order from the beginning since much of the character development occurs over multiple books.
