CW: Extreme ableism throughout, specifically towards autistic people, in-depth portrayals of ABA

Let me be clear: This book is immensely readable. As a thriller it does it's job probably better than average. However, it is by far the most ableist book I have read in a long time. This is made worse by the fact that the author has an autistic child himself. I read this book for a readathon, but I will definitely be avoiding this author in the future.
