What a literally ride. I loved this book. I read it so quickly!! What a great debut book ! This book has a lot of talk about cars but you do not need to be a huge car fan to understand what goes on. At times I felt like I was reading something out of fast and furious , which I love.

Shy , goody two shoes girl, meets bad boy player known to get into trouble and falls head over heels…. Just when you think everything is perfect, tragedy hits.

I would personally consider this book as a dark romance, since it is not your typical romance book with the themes and topics that occur. AJ is a know player and bad boy and a walking red flag .. but as the book goes a long things change for him. There are alot of triggers in this book within this genre so make sure you read over before you read. I don’t get triggered easily so this didn’t affect my experience.

Character wise, I loved them. Rosalie , the virgin .. shy , tiny , good two shoes girl with a passion for cars, painting and customizing them. She is the girl who will follow , even if she knows it’s something dangerous or bad. She falls hard and a bit clueless/ denial.

AJ , the bad boy player …built and muscular .. he has the body of the gods. He grew up in a shitty childhood which leads him to his lifestyle. Gives off 0 fucks vibes until he meets Rosalie. His perspective changes and he is her protector and only cares about her.

I loved the family dynamics between the Wells family, the love, support for each other and their love and passion for cars and customizing was enjoyable to read.

This book is spicyyyyy , the smutt in this book is so hot. If you enjoy this type of read I think you will enjoy this because there is alot of it. The demands and “baby girl” names made me melt.. lol.

Now for the ending … frustration is my word ha ha . I have high hopes that in book 2 there will be a comeback and I can’t wait to continue on in this series.

Overall, I rated this book 5 stars . It was a different read for me and something I actually enjoyed. I will say this theme is not for everyone but if you can get past the triggers and if dark romance is your thing I think you will like it. I loved the story line and would recommend. I love romance , and this has a bit of suspense as well.
