The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult

2.0

Ahhhh, Jodi Picoult.

I generally love her work - I’ve read a lot of her novels and, although formulaic, they always grip me with their interesting plots, unexpected twists and the clear research that has gone into the story.

The Book of Two Ways did not do any of this - it’s clear she researched very well. So well, in fact, that I felt like I was reading an Egyptology textbook.
The characters were so unlikeable and the plot was ... to be honest, boring.

Sad to say as I usually love her novels but this one was completely pointless. And the ending just annoyed me.
