From when I first met Jude in the previous book,  bittersweet, I had a feeling his story would be a hard one to read. He broke my heart so many times simply because I felt horrible for the situation he found himself in. He made some mistakes but is trying so hard to be better. His love for Sophie is so pure and sweet that you can't help but root for them.
So many emotions in this book. Jude is by no means perfect, but he also had things happen to him that were just so wrong and unfair.
The scene with the toddler destroyed me. So. Many. Tears.
Jeffrey Kaffer and Seraphine Valentine did a beautiful job with this beautiful book. They both gave 5 star performances. This book is gonna stay with me for a long time.
