The Every by Dave Eggers
1.0
This book suffers from the same issues as The Circle. The idea, is actually quite good, and in the hands of a stronger author could go very far. Unfortunately, Eggers manages to turn this into a satire of itself, and lacks a grounding in reality.
Also, I am always weary of storylines that are about someone from destroying something with 'bad ideas' when the very thing they want to destroy is based on 'bad ideas'. It's just never going to work, and feels like a half arsed attempt.
