In Plain Sight: The Life and Lies of Jimmy Savile by Dan Davies

5.0

This is one of those books that I hated to love, over 600 pages Dan Davies delves deeply into Jimmy Savile and his long list of crimes. In hindsight it's easy to say that he was creepy and disturbing but it's true, I didn't enjoy watching him on the TV and used to turn off Top of the Pops when he was on.

Even before his crimes were uncovered, Jimmy Savile polarised people he was like marmite you either loved him or hated him. I'm in the hated camp.

The books is full of details and the author swings between his interviews with Savile and talking about the operation to discover his crimes. I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in the subject.
