Thor: God of Thunder, Volume 1: The God Butcher by Jason Aaron

5.0

This volume sets the stage of the God Butcher arc by introducing this god-slaying terror and laying the ground for the time-jumping conflict involving the various incarnations of Thor. This is a very fun read and definitely feels Thor-worthy as the conflict spans millennia and entire universes, fitting for a character of mythic fame.

I especially love the art style, particularly during the viking era. Seeing Thor in the context he was originally worshipped in provides a solid ground for the character.
