The World of All Souls: A Complete Guide to A Discovery of Witches, Shadow of Night and The Book of Life by Colleen Madden, Deborah Harkness
4.0
3.5 stars.
For what this book is, a reference book for readers on a fictional world, it certainly meets expectations. I did not read every word, I do not need to read the detailed character descriptions for characters that I know because I read the book. I skimmed over every page, but I did really enjoy the Q&A with Deborah Harkness and the photos of the real life places that inspired the locations of The World of All Souls. If you are super interested in these characters/places for more than just a little bit of entertainment this book is probably good to flip through. Otherwise, you can ignore it, as it doesn't actually add anything to the plotlines.
