This book is very simplistic - intentionally written in a minimalist style, almost like an intense children’s book or a story told around the fire. Even so, I wept.
One page docked it an entire half-point: needless fatphobia. It was completely unnecessary for Loki and Angrboda to use “fat” as an insult. It was hurtful and useless for the author to do that.
