Another winner from classic Arthurian author Chrétien de Troyes! Erec and Enide is a fascinating read, and I think there is a lot to play with regarding expectations of violence (as there is in most chivlaric stories, but I think is more interestingly explored here). Enide is incredibly interesting to me, and I loved the actions she took in this story.
