This is a contender for my favorite book I read this year. It’s funny, emotional, reflective, and hopeful. The story depicts a young college woman navigating her sexuality while processing trauma from her past, and determining how to hold on to or let go of friendships. I can’t believe this was a debut novel for the author - I will be eagerly looking for more!
Moderate: Sexual assault
Minor: Alcohol
