Breaker of Fate by R.M. Derrick

Thank you to the author for providing me with an eARC in exchange for a honest review.
I really adored the main character of this book, Derica is a plus-sized and bi-sexual FMS who is not a hero, or warrior but instead just a young woman fated to fall in love. She is not a FMC who is instantly good at everything she does and beyond charming and strong instead she is just a woman doing what she needs to in order to survive. I also loved all the friendships in the shown throughout the book. Derica and Reid have a friendship that is more of a family bond and are so sweet towards each other. Justus, Nyle and Maz have a bond that is more silent but equally as strong. The found family trope is one of my favorites and it is definitely strong in this book. While I did really enjoy this book it did take me a minute to get into the world building and truly start to understand what was going on. I have been in a bit of a slump this month which is why I didn't ended up reading this one as soon as I met to but I am glad I finally got to reading it because it is a strong story.
