Ace: What Asexuality Reveals about Desire, Society, and the Meaning of Sex by Angela Chen
4.0
I feel like I personally only needed the first section, I skipped the second entirely and only read the first part of the third
I wanted more how it felt to be ace rather than stuff about laws and politics, if you’re interested in that stuff it’s probably good
It has definitely fit with my idea of being on the ace spectrum I’m just not sure where on the spectrum I am
It did make me realise that i was viewing my relationship with my teenage best friend in a queerplutonic way and they viewed it as a friendship which is why I was devastated when they put their partner ahead of me and completely cut me off
