I am a huge fan of this series. It never fails to tear apart my heart and then stitch it back together. In Reckless Road we see a little more of the "paranormal" than I've really noticed in the other books. This series always has me scratching my head on how to categorize it.

Player's "skill" comes with terrible repercussions but he has found that Kyah helps relieve them some. There are problems for Kyah when she does this for him though and of course Player doesn't want her to help him because of this. I will say, he was a total ass to her before they are properly introduced. His reactions fit with the environment, but she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Because I knew she was hurt, I was a little upset with him.

Reckless Road doesn't focus as much on the trafficking ring as the others, but there is a kind of mystery, or problem that needs the club to help fix. Torpedo Ink protects the people and business in their town.

There is some interesting magic going on that was crossing the lines between past and present. It kept me fascinated. The way the club members work together, as a family, depending on each other completely runs so deep, you can feel their connection.

There was a lot going on until it all fits together and I was enthralled. I love this whole series and if you want your heart ripped out with a great HEA, these are definitely for you. The next one is Savage's book and I'm dying for that one. He is like, the farthest from accepting their new normal and I can't wait to see how he fights his demons.
