Brilliant start to the OG of fantasy novels and amazing narration by Andy Serkis. The story starts out slow and due to the reading of both Hobbit and Silmarillion, the world and its lore looks extremely vivid and fascinating. The reason as to why a hobbit has to carry the ring and effects of corruption caused by it makes more sense. The characters are extremely well written which doesn't need to be said by me, but the voice used by Andy Serkis for Strider aka Aragorn is brilliant than the rest. On towards Two Towers.
