Charming the Prince by Teresa Medeiros

Randomly remembered this book while searching for another single father historical and decided to give it a reread.

It's definitely not a great read. Not particularly romantic and pretty lacking as far as romance and any sort of steam or relationship building scenes with the MCs. BUT it provides some decent entertainment that requires little thought or attention to enjoy.

Admittedly this author's style of writing feels a bit dated, which is to be expected. And I am definitely not really a fan of this sort of whimsical and dreamy eyed sort of cuteness this book offers. However, it is still a cute read to pass the time if you want a few laughs and a way to get out of your own head.

It's a little silly and a little too on the nose with the Cinderella/Fairytale comparisons but still interesting.

Predictable, yes but somehow despite the cheese and lacking in key areas it's still mildly entertaining.
