The Final Gambit by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
4.0
I thought this was a pretty good conclusion to the Inheritance Games series. All the twists and turns of the games and puzzles were awesome and I loved how there were both moments where you figured things out with the characters and moments where the characters made you wait to find out.
I also loved how protruding chess is in all of these books. It makes me want to play a game of chess by a fire in a mansion with *cough* Grayson *cough*. Or Xander, that would be fun too.
I feel like Grayson was COMPLETELY cheated out. I'm on the team Grayson supremacy here.
Jameson is too much of a pick-me girl for me but don't get me wrong, I still love him.
Xander has and always will be one of my favorite Hawthorne brothers because he's just so chaotic.
I just love all of them (yes, even Nash a little bit).
Overall, I really liked this series and I can't wait to read the Brothers Hawthorne.
