Ruthless Crown by Amanda Richardson
3.0
well, can't say i didn't enjoy it. i just felt like everything happened WAY too fast? she met them 10 days ago and suddenly they're acting like they're ready to take a bullet for her.
props to the author for mentioning therapy and for not healing briar's trauma with sex. she *ACTUALLY* got professional help to assist her in dealing with such strong trauma like someone who you're supposed to trust assaulting you.
i like the boys and i like that they're not actually bullies, just misunderstood kids. i wish we had more time with them and briar so their relationship could develop. if this book's timeline had happened in months or even a few weeks, i feel like we'd be able to enjoy more and connect to the characters more.
another bad point is that i've spotted a few misspelled words in this book, nothing too grotesque, but i think it shouldn't be there, considering it's a published book.
