The Third to Die by Allison Brennan

The mystery/suspense was good but the writing wasn’t great. It was a bit redundant and the author relied on vague references to past traumas in place of making actually interesting characters and told us they had chemistry, but I didn’t really feel it. That said, I’m still going to read the next one in the series in the hopes that the core cast gets more developed.
