Love in a Pickle by L.B. Dunbar

4.0

If you’ve read Penny Reid’s Winston Brothers series, you’ll know Scotia Simmons. She is one of Green Valley’s leading socialites and definitely a grown-up mean girl so I wasn’t exactly excited to read her HEA. But see, the beauty of the expanded Pennyverse is that we get to learn more about these secondary characters we’ve come to know, love, and sometimes even hate.
This is the conclusion of L.B. Dunbar’s series within a series, The Winters Sisters, and I really enjoyed it. Cameos as expected from the sisters and their men and Beau and Shelley in a very mortifying visit at the shop when Scotia drops off her car.

Check it out if you’re into: mature romance (she’s 48, he’s 46); unlikeable heroines; found family; secrets; small town romance
