I really enjoyed this book. It was good in a way that made me hate some of the main characters but that’s what made it more realistic. I’m tired of heroines and heroes being displayed as absolutely perfect. They are literally murdering people. This is a 17-year-old child pushed into horrible circumstances. How do people expect she should act? Did some of her actions and others annoy me to no end? Yes, but that makes it more like real life. She’s a child just trying to save people while navigating or, more accurately, avoiding her trauma.
