I LOVE this book & the series.
Without giving away any plot details, it even contains one of my least favorite tropes and I still enjoyed the book.
I really appreciated the feisty main character and her spirit throughout the book. The seriousness of the plot is cut by humor which I really enjoyed.
If you are a fan of ruthless trials (often described as "Hunger Games meet The Bachelor"), morally grey characters, strong female characters, magic, and secrets..... this is a book for you!
