Crimson Moon by J.A. Saare

4.0

Crimson Moon was a much different werewolf and vampire story than I've read before.
It starts out with Emma getting taken by Caleb a man who claims her father has sent for her and she is in danger of people harming her. Her father is a trueblood vampire, so she is kind of like royalty in the vampire world. Emma probably wouldn't have believed vampires and werewolves existed until she actually saw the "things" that were after her when Caleb took her.

After all of this she learns that Caleb is actually a werewolf as well as all of the people with him. They end up taking her to a place called "the pit" where she sees a whole new world of werewolves and learns a few things about the strange feelings she keeps having for Caleb.

Spoiler alert!
When the man comes to take Emma to her father she is heartbroken to learn that Caleb seems to be giving her up. I was so mad at him because of this, I wanted to strangle him!

Then Emma goes to meet her father and she learns a few more interesting things about her family she never knew. Now she has to make a choice, if she should become a vampire or not.

I really enjoyed this book, it has romance even if it was a little bit fast paced, and werewolves and vampires. I can not wait to continue this series.
