"Learn from yesterday, Live for today, Hope for tomorrow." ~ Albert Einstein

This story is of two broken souls attempting to deal with their pain and grief the only way they know how. They both lost someone close to them with no warning and this loss has changed who they were into who they have become. They both have their vices that "ease" the pain but nothing can mend a broken heart better then the other part of your soul.

Arion lost the love of her life and her drug of choice is sex. Bain lost his twin and his drug of choice is pills. When these two meet by chance at a local bar, sparks fly and instantly they recognize something similar in each other.

Arion is confident and sassy but she has rules. No over nights, no feelings and when she's done with you, you're gone. She is not looking for anything other than a good time, but there is something about Bain that makes her question her rules.

Bain is a lost soul. His life is in shambles, he has no idea where he is going next. He had a promising future but lost his drive and desire the day he got the news about his sister. He doesn't think past tomorrow until he meets a blonde little firecracker, Arion. She makes him want to smile and live again, even with her ridiculous rules.

"You don't need to run from me, you can run to me. Let your walls down, Arion. I promise I won't break them."

While this story is never lacking in heat, it is truly heartbreaking. You feel bad for their pasts but possibly hopeful for their futures. Can they work out their issues and find their happily ever after?

"We effortlessly fit together, like two pieces of a puzzle snapping into place."

You think you know the answer to that, until the end...
