I absolutely loved this smart police procedural thriller.  Set in the UK, Washington Poe is a suspended inspector called back into service when his name appears carved in the chest of the third victim of a local serial killer.  I thought this book was riveting, smart and challenging.  It is intricate, but all of the loose ends fit together in the end.  I will be reading on!
