Dreamwalkers by Leslie Rush

3.0

Dreamwalkers is one of those books where I had trouble deciding upon a rating for it. On the one hand, I was hooked and happily devoured it in a single sitting. On the other hand, I feel certain aspects were never taken as far as they could have been.

There is no doubt Dreamwalkers is a book that pulls the reader in with ease. There are many aspects that leave the reader curious about what is to come next, leaving them to rapidly turn the pages to find out the truth. There are some details the reader will work out with ease, but it does not take away from the overall story.

As fun as it was, I do wish we went a bit deeper into the supernatural element of the story. It was certainly interesting, but it didn’t quite live to the full potential of the topic. There were a lot of things involved, and I could certainly see there being a lot of fun. My fingers are crossed we go deeper in the future books, as I have high hopes for what is to follow.

All in all, this was a fun start to the series, and I’m eager for more.
