I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this one as I wasn’t 100% sure about the whole podcast storyline but I ended up enjoying it.
From the moment we meet Jed I instantly liked him, he’s so charismatic. He’s also a very swoon worthy firefighter. While Lola isn’t quite sure what shes doing having moved back to Green Valley. She’s a good main character and it was funny to watch her interact with Jed. Although I didn’t love that she didn’t tell the men about her podcast until after the date, she could’ve maybe been a little better about that. I really liked how Jed reacted though and his pursuing of Lola was so fun to read. The romance build-up was perfect as were all the characters throughout.
Overall, I totally think you should read this book if you want a little second chance romance with a swoon worthy fireman.
