I was curious about this one because it’s the only published fantasy (unless you count Lucas which I don’t) book by Onley James.
At first I was only mildly invested. I’m not sure why because the premise was interesting and I liked the overarching plot. It was cool to see how the religious elements factored in here as opposed to her other books. The ship was okay and grows together as James’ couples always do.
Despite the fact this wasn’t my favorite , I can’t pretend the end didn’t hurt (in a good way). Onley Jamesguarantees HEAs , so it makes the heartbreak even more impressive.
